Ethan is from Hondo, Texas and is a valued member of the Summit Landscape and Design team. He enjoys drawing and building detailed models in his free time.

His favorite plant is lantana because, as he says, “They’re easy to maintain, very colorful, and the smell reminds me of Fruity Pebbles for some reason.”

Christian is originally from Uvalde. He enjoys spending time at the shooting range and playing video games. He also loves spending time with his girlfriend and his daughter, Emilee. Fun fact: Christian is a huge Texas Longhorns fan.

Ben, originally from San Antonio, Texas. He enjoys taking his family and dog to various rivers and lakes across South Texas. He loves to be outdoors, especially in the Hill Country. His favorite tree is the Mountain Laurel, because of its flowers aroma.

Chris was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, but is now happy to call Hondo, TX home. He loves spending time with his wife and their kids, Kaedyn and Thomas. He enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing, and playing sports with the kids! He is also a huge Atlanta Braves fan!

Felipe was born in Uvalde, Texas and raised in Castroville. He enjoys working outdoors and being part of the Summit Landscape and Design team.

His favorite plant is the Venus flytrap because, as he says, “They catch insects and are able to live in poor soil since they get nutrients from the bugs they consume.”

Brandon enjoys spending his free time outdoors hunting, fishing, and shooting sporting clays. He also enjoys cheering on his favorite team and is a big Texas A&M fan.

Tanner is originally from Woodlands, Texas. He is part of one of the family duos within the Team - he gets to call John Maloney, “Dad”. Away from Summit Landscape and Design, he loves to make music and spend time in creative activities. His favorite tree is the Texas Madrone which is frequently found out in the Hill Country.

Zane is originally from Columbus, Ohio but moved to North Carolina where he first found his love for trees and plants. Zane has since moved to Texas and is living on a ranch. He enjoys art of all forms, loves to be outside, play the piano, and listen to music. His favorite tree is the Japanese Maple.

Bill was Idaho born, Wyoming raised, and as of 2017 a Texas resident in the Hondo area. He enjoys being outside, working with his hands, and helping others anyway he is able. With an extensive knowledge across a number of different skill sets, he prides himself as a problem solver. As unforeseen complications do arise time to time with new installations, he always stands ready and confident to find a solution with a good attitude and the words, "Where there's a Bill, there's a way."

Victoria is from D’Hanis, Texas, and has always been drawn to the outdoors. From fishing trips to sand volleyball games, she enjoys staying active and spending time outside - usually with her dog not too far away. Her favorite plant is a Pothos ‘N’Joy because it's simple yet versatile!

Matthew is originally from Archer City, Texas and has lived in the San Antonio area for more than 15 years. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He has two kids, Abigail and Joseph, and a beautiful wife, Mary. Matthew enjoys golfing, bird hunting, and working cattle on the ranch back home. His favorite tree is a Lace Bark Elm!

Tricia grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York and built a successful 20-year career as a senior leader for large retail organizations, which gave her the opportunity to live across the United States, including Hawaii.

She and her husband later stepped away from corporate life to become full-time RVers, a journey that brought them to Hondo. After falling in love with the community, they decided to put down roots and become more involved in South Texas.

Outside of work, Tricia enjoys designing handbags in her workshop using exotic materials found throughout the region, as well as spending time outdoors hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, and birdwatching.

COMMERCIAL BUSINESS DEVELOPER

Josh is originally from San Antonio, and resides on the Texas Gulf Coast with his wife, Heather, and their 2 boys. He attended UTSA and ASU and has a background in engineering and organizational management. He currently serves on several local and regional boards including the San Antonio Chapter of the International Facility Managers Association (IFMA). When not working, you can find Josh out fishing with his kids or cooking. His favorite plant is the Hibiscus because, "It reminds me of the ocean - which is now my home!”

ACCOUNT MANAGER

John grew up in Iowa, but came to Texas in 1983. He met his beautiful wife Carol in 1984, became a Texan and they have now been married for over 40 years. They have four kids, two girls and two boys. John has over 40 years in the golf and landscape industry and also has an Associate Degree in Horticulture. He is also licensed as a TDA Pesticide Applicator and Licensed Irrigator as well as a Licensed Back Flow inspector.

Jonathan’s passion for the green industry and construction runs deep. However, Jonathan's love for the people on this Team is greater than his passion for the industry. “While landscape and construction are great, it’s about the people on this Team. Landscape is just what we do.” Jonathan is married to his beautiful wife, Morgan. Together with their kids Weston and Laurel, they are regularly involved in community, church and industry functions. Jonathan serves on multiple boards in the community and surrounding area. Jonathan is also involved in industry growth and awareness. From presenting to students on their potential in our industry, to speaking at conferences and events sharing the Summit difference.

FINANCE MANAGER

Marie came on-board to Summit Landscape back in 2019 when she and her family relocated to San Antonio from Dover AFB, Delaware. Her husband landed an instructor position at the schoolhouse at Lackland AFB. Marie grew up on Long Island, NY and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business from SUNY New Paltz (upstate New York) #gohawks. Since working at Summit, she has also obtained her Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance with SNHU! Marie and her family love Texas so much that they decided to grow some roots up in the Hill Country and are loving the small-ranch life with their 2 kids and many chickens! She loves to garden and be outdoors when she's not slinging numbers around.

Jason is from Pearsall, Texas and currently lives in San Antonio, Texas. He loves spending time with his children and beautiful wife, Julia. He maintains a storied career within the South Texas EMS community. He believes in Team work, great presentation and is detail oriented. It goes without saying but, he’s pretty much the life of the party here at Summit Landscape & Design and Dunlay Material.

Eric grew up in  New Jersey and spent his summers down at the Shore (yes, that Jersey Shore). He moved  to Texas to attend Texas A&M University right after  high school. He later made his way to San Antonio after a couple of years of “studies,” and has been in San Antonio ever since. In 2003, he received  his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from UIW. Eric currently has been involved in the landscape industry for over 30 years. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with my wife and family.

Morgan helps guide Summit Landscape alongside her husband Jonathan, shaping the vision and direction of the company with a deep commitment to growing people. Born and raised in South Texas, she brings lasting community roots and a thoughtful, people first perspective to the company’s culture. Morgan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Being deeply committed to the well being of the team and their families, Morgan believes that when people are cared for, excellence follows.

Calvin has been a key part of the culture at Summit Landscape and Design and enjoys investing in the team and helping others grow within the organization.

Outside of work, Calvin enjoys watching his kids play sports, going fishing, and cooking. For him, being outside feels like being on a playground. His favorite plant is the pecan tree because, as he says, “Pecan is my favorite kind of pie.”

Reid is originally from Terrell, Texas and attended Texas State University (The Harvard of Texas). In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He also believes that, “Die Hard”, is a Christmas Movie!

Josh is from Corpus Christi, TX and moved to San Antonio in 2011.  He is a father of 3 children, and husband to his beautiful wife, Debra!  Besides being Summit Landscape and Design's Fleet and Facilities Manager, Josh and his wife own a dog boarding business named, Pinky's Pet Resort.  Josh enjoys spending his time off with his family and getting in a round of golf when time permits.  Josh also loves playing his guitar, making music, and learning new things!

Jennifer, a Texas native, brings a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous growth to everything she does. She enjoys learning new skills and embracing challenges in all areas of her professional life.

Outside of work, Jennifer has been married for nearly 15 years and stays busy raising her three young sons. In her free time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, and bowling. She is excited to continue building strong relationships with both the Summit Landscape team and the local community.

Marcus specializes in video, photography, and graphic design to elevate the company’s visual presence. He focuses on building a strong, cohesive brand while supporting a team-driven approach. Outside of work, Marcus is married to his wife Kennan, has four crazy fun kids and likes Napoleon Dynamite and a good root beer.
